Group members were invited to attend the 12th international conference on new type of lithium battery for electric vehicles and visited University of Münster in Germany

Prof. Yang Yong and Associate Professor Gong Zhengliang were invited to attend the "2019 12th International Conference on New Lithium Batteries for Electric Vehicles" organized by International Association of Lithium Batteries for Vehicles. The conference, organized by the Helmholtz Institute Ulm (HIU) and the Zentrumfursonnenenergie-und Wasserstoff-Forschung Baden-Wurttemberg (ZSW), It held in Ulm, Germany, from 6 to 9 October 2019. At the invitation of the Organizing Committee, Prof. Yang delivered an invitation report titled "Toward a durable Sei film for Li-ion batteries with high energy density" at the Oct. 9 conference. After the conference, Prof. Yang Yong and Prof. Gong Zhengliang were invited to visit the MEET Battery Research Center and the IEK-12 Institute of Ulich Research Center at the University of Munster, Germany on October 10-11, and held a Sino-German communication meeting. Discuss the progress of the Sino-German International Cooperation (NSFC-DFG) project and the next research plan. The two sides agreed to further strengthen the cooperation on key materials and advanced characterization technologies for the new generation of high specific energy lithium batteries.
